Egypt Trip Hub representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo for an amazing day trip to Alexandria. First, visit Pompay's Pillar, constructed in honor of Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century. Originally from the temple of Serapis, it was once a grand structure rivaling other famous sites. Then, head to the Catacombs, the largest Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock.

Afterward, enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant in Alexandria, followed by a visit to the Qaitbay Citadel, built on the site of the ancient Pharaohs' lighthouse of Alexandria. Next, explore the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, one of the world’s most impressive libraries.

If the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is closed on Friday, you will visit the Roman Theater instead.

Finally, you’ll drive back to your hotel in Cairo.
